Get Ready for the New School Year

St. Catherine's offers Back to School Camps for new and current St. Catherine's students as part of Brilliant Summer. These classes are taught by St. Catherine's teachers and provide students a jump-start to the academic year. These camps are only available to incoming and current St. Catherine's students.

  • Ooey Gooey (JK-1)

    Students will tap into their inner scientists and explore the wonder of creating mixtures, such as slime and playdough. We will follow "Ooey Gooey" recipes and uncover the endless possibilities of these simple ingredients. Each day, they will take home their own distinctive creations and a recipe card to share with others.
    For new and returning St. Catherine's girls.

  • Water World (JK -1)

    A fun-filled science camp where your kids will explore the wonders of water through interactive play, experiments, and art activities. They'll learn about the amazing properties of water and the fascinating world around it through exciting experiments like "sink or float" and "will it dissolve?"
    For new and returning St. Catherine's girls.

  • Wiggles and Squiggles (K-1)

    Come join us for some engaging multi-sensory fine motor fun. Campers will wiggle, giggle, and create a variety of squiggles as they strengthen their developing fine motor skills - including pencil grip and scissor skills! 
    For new and returning St. Catherine's girls.

  • Fly into First Grade

    Preparing for first grade will be a breeze after a week with St. Catherine’s teachers, getting to know each other and the schedule for the new year. Fun activities will help prepare students academically, socially, and emotionally for the first day of school.

  • Slide into Second Grade 

    Teachers have curated a fantastic schedule to help new and returning students become acquainted with a new schedule, review math, reading and study skills

  • Singapore Math Grades 1-2

    Fun-filled activities to review Singapore math skills and confidence in preparation for the upcoming school year.

  • Thriving in Third Grade

    Students will become familiar with new leadership roles, celebrate new teachers and friends, and review math and reading skills in this week-long preparatory camp.

  • Buen Viaje: Exploration of Spanish Language and Culture

    Come explore the Spanish-speaking world during this weeklong camp. Each day we will check out the culture and language from a different Latin American country, reading stories, playing games, making crafts and acting out skits to improve our speaking and listening comprehension skills. Woven into each day will be a review of fundamental vocabulary important to our Lower School Spanish curriculum, as well as exciting opportunities for taste-testing some Hispanic foods.

  • Make Way for Middle School (Grade 5-6)

    New Students to St. Catherine's Middle School (all rising 5th graders and new rising 6th graders) will experience fun-filled activities to help them get acquainted with all things "Middle School". We will explore the campus, meet the faculty, and learn about the schedule and routine of Middle School.
