Class of 2014 Graduates

The 80 members of the Class of 2014 became St. Catherine’s newest alumnae on Saturday morning.
St. Catherine’s School celebrated the 80 members of the Class of 2014 on Saturday with the School’s official commencement exercise.
Among the day’s honorees were June Scholars Hallie Reichel and Maria Sison and June Queen Julia Warren. June Scholar represents the top student (s) in the class. June Queen is voted on by students, faculty and staff and is kept secret until announced at the Junior-Senior Banquet.
Each member of the Class of 2014 wore a green ribbon on her wrist in honor of Mark Licata, father of graduate McKenzie. Mark died unexpectedly the Sunday before graduation.
The gift in honor of the Class of 2014 was presented by senior parent Frank Reichel. The parents and grandparents gave a gift totally more than $441,000. The gift is in support of the School’s annual fund and to help create an endowment to support student independent research in all disciplines.
The ceremony concluded with the traditional Daisy Chain on the Green. This beloved tradition marks the transition of leadership from the Class of 2014 to the Class of 2015.
