Students Performing in Swan Lake
Two St. Catherine's students will perform in the Richmond Ballet production of "Swan Lake."
Sixth grader Ella Spruill is one of just nine children selected to perform in the Richmond Ballet production of "Swan Lake."
The production runs Feb. 8-10 at Carpenter Theatre at Richmond CenterStage. Spruill appears in Act One.
“It means a lot to me to be in this production because I have always wanted to be in Swan Lake,” Spruill said. “I feel very special and I can't wait to do my first show.”
Spruill is not the only St. Catherine’s student who will make an appearance in the production. Junior Margaret Gaenzle, a trainee with Richmond Ballet, has been working on "Swan Lake" since last summer.
