The Upper School Model U.N. received the highest honor given to a delegation during the William & Mary High School Model UN Conference earlier this month. The team won the Michael Charles Coon Award for best representation and diplomacy. Sophomore Margaret Nunnally also won Best Delegate for her work in the United Nations Environmental Programme committee where she debated solutions for food waste as it relates to global hunger, and ways to help indigenous people disproportionately affected by climate change.
The conference took place virtually with our students working in the Wright Library on campus.
