After-school care is available for Early Learners (age 3) students at St. Catherine's Center for Early Childhood Education. The program is an extension of the school day to meet the needs of families who need care up until 6 p.m. and enrollment is optional. This service is available when school is in session, and it is closed on school holidays and on parent-teacher conference days.

Our coordinated after-school care program called “Extended Day” serves girls and boys in junior kindergarten through grade eight. Held year-round at St. Christopher’s, there are various schedule options to meet the needs of your family including:
Three days (parents can select which days of the week) or five days a week
Care plans available up to 6 p.m.
Full-day care starting at 7:30 a.m. on parent-teacher conference days, faculty/staff professional development days, and many School holidays, such as Columbus Day, the Monday following Thanksgiving, and Presidents' Day.
Extended Day is also open on early dismissal days, portions of Christmas Break, and Spring Break

Lower School Clubhouse We know that girls love choices, and by giving girls choices, they dive deeper into exploration that fuels future passions. Through St. Catherine's Lower School Clubhouse, K-grade 4 girls can continue to explore, learn and grow after the school bell. Families may select Tuesdays and/or Thursdays up to 6 p.m., with sessions taking place throughout the school year on days when school is in session. Parents can combine Lower School Clubhouse and Extended Day after-school care to fill a full week of after-school care and enrichment.

Grades 5-6 After-School Enrichment
Middle School Clubhouse - Launching 2021 Girls in grades 5 and 6 can keep exploring after the school dismissal. This enrichment program is designed especially for the pre-teen girl by Deborah Smith, Grade 6 Critical and Creative Thinking Skills teacher. The program will combine extracurricular explorations (with input from the girls) with some time to complete homework or brush up on their math and English skills. It is offered Tuesdays and/or Thursdays until 6 p.m. when school is in session and can be combined with Extended Day after-school care. Snacks included.
