Creating Crystals
Seventh graders created crystals in Earth Science.
Seventh graders hit the lab today in science. They are creating an evaporite mineral by first mixing different types of salt with water resulting in a super concentrated solution. Once the water evaporates, it will leave behind a crystallized solid.
Experiential learning is an important aspect across all subjects and in all three divisions. The girls learn by actually doing and then reflecting on the process and their experience.
