Saints fall to Collegiate JV
Despite losing 25-8, St. Catherine's put together one solid offensive inning that could inspire them for future games. The Saints scored all eight of their runs in the third inning on four hits. Lucina Hawkins, Lucy Wallace, Claire Moore, Sarah Hancock, Von Chalmers and Rachel Page each scored a run. Rosie Rong tallied two runs.
Another positive take from the game was the Saints only struck out four times and walked three times. The Saints repeatedly put the ball in play. Soon with more experience and skill, some of the grounders to infielders will find their way into the outfield.
