Saints prevail against Collegiate Cub
The Saints had their bats going against a determined Collegiate Cub team in a 20-9 victory. It was a busy week for the Saints as they played three games, winning two of them.
Lindsay Everhart led the hit parade with 3 hits that included a pair of doubles that drove in 6 runs. Lucy Wallace reached base three times and scored 3 runs. Lucina Hawkins was magnificent behind the plate and added three runs and a clean triple. Von Chalmers had a hit, Claire Moore had two hits, Charlotte Camp smashed a double and Whitney Dyke added a hit.
Whitney pitched two innings in the victory and struck out 5. Whitney's pitching record is now 2-0 for the JV Softball team.
