Saints are successful in Greensboro

St. Catherine's finished 3rd of 16 teams in the Championship Race of the Hagan Stone XC Classic.  Liz Spruill led the way with a medal winning 15th place in a fine time of 20:07.  Randall Ackerly finished in 32nd place closely followed by a very improved Keeilah Moseley in 33rd.  Annabel O'Hagan had her best run of the season in 41st and a fast charging Whitney Busch completed our scoring in 43rd (of 113 finishers).   Led by medal winners Ryley Ogden (1st), Willa King (3rd), and Connor Haynes (9th) St. Catherine's won the Middle School Race and the coveted wooden turtle trophy.  Mary McCarthy (22nd) and Wynne Barsanti (26th) rounded out our scoring team.  But the best runs of the day were by Caroline Hanes (33rd) and Kathryn LeBey (46th) in the 100 runner field.
