Sophomores Named Student Visionaries of the Year

Three students raised $60,813.12 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Sophomores Ella Iuorno, Scarlett Townsend and Lucy Wootton were named Student Visionaries of the Year by the Richmond Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).
 
Their team, Team Lymphomaniacs, raised $60,813.12 in seven weeks for LLS, passing their goal of $50,000. They were joined by Tessa Brown, Jane Edmunds, Aseye Gatty, Emily Levy, Anna Sleeker and McKenzie Kuehnle in their fundraising efforts. The 12 teams that competed in the Richmond Area raised $233,605.
 
Every year, young student leaders embark on a seven-week fundraising journey with the goal to create a world without blood cancers.
