St. Catherine's Competes in Battle of the Brains

St. Catherine's Upper Schoolers competed against Menchville High School in Battle of the Brains.

     St. Catherine's takes on Menchville High School from Newport News on Battle of the Brains Saturday morning, airing at 10 a.m. on CBS6. The show was previously recorded.
     Representing St. Catherine's on Saturday: senior Cameron Tierney (captain), junior Jala Wilson, junior Pender Raymond and sophomore Kathryn Price. They were coached by Anthony Ambrogi and Danielle Armstrong.
     Seniors Guin Buono and Lizzie Lamb resurrected the club, which has more members but was limited on who could compete.
     Battle of the Brains highlights academic achievement through quizzing with two Virginia schools competing against each other. The show is virtual this year. The St. Catherine's students met on campus to face off against Menchville in the recorded program.
