New events were introduced for Daisy Days this spring.
While we were once again not able to gather together on the Green because of the pandemic, the Daisy Days Committee reimagined the event with a variety of fun events this spring.
Families toured around Richmond for a Scavenger Hunt featuring several surprise guests representing St. Catherine's and inspiring women from the Richmond area. Even Miss Jennie (portrayed by retired Science teacher Nancy Habenicht) showed up to greet students. Upper School students dressed in costumes to present different women in the history of the School and Richmond.
Families also gathered at the Goochland campus for the first-ever Daisy Daisy Drive-In. They enjoyed the movie “Parent Trap” and various snacks.
The Virtual Marketplace happened for a second year, featuring a variety of vendors benefiting St. Catherine’s.
Throughout the year, a host of fundraisers supported Daisy Days including pre-ordered meals, the traditional Daisy Day T-shirt and Daisy Days sales.
Thank you to our Daisy Days committee for their creativity and flexibility in re-imagining Daisy Days.
