Saints claim first victory of season

The Saints played their best game of the season in a 20-8 victory over St. Margaret's in Tappahannock.

Whitney Dyke pitched a terrific game--going five innings and yielding 3 hits, 4 walks and striking out 11. Whitney's pitching alleviated some pressure on the Saints and that freedom was evident on the plate. Rachel Page went 3 for 3 with 4 RBI and 2 runs scored. Von Chalmers scored 4 times on two hits and two walks while Whitney scored 3. Rosie Rong, Lucina Hawkins and Sarah Hawkins had two runs apiece. Katie Page and Aiza Chaudhry added a run off the bench.

It was a complete team effort.
