St. Catherine's wins Maymont again
St. Catherine's has won the Private School Championship at the Maymont Invitational - repeating last year's victory. Last year Anne Finlay Vaughan won this race with a time of 21:10. This year 3 girls (Gracie Cuevas 20:38, Mamie Robertson 20:41, and Ali Doswell 20:51) bettered that time. Barrett Haynes and Taylor Clevinger rounded out our scoring. We took a 2nd place in the JV Private Schools Championship. Kate McDowell led the team with her best effort of the season. Eliza Costas, Polly Ukrop, and Jessica Hansen also had seasonal bests. Whitney Busch rounded out the team scoring with a blazing kick in her first ever cross country race. Keeilah Moseley was a standout in the Middle School Race with a time that is amoung our best ever in this race.
