  • Assistant Chaplain and Lower School Religion Teacher

    St. Catherine’s School seeks an Assistant Chaplain and Lower School Religion Teacher to serve as an integral part of the academic and spiritual leadership of the School. The primary purpose of this role is to enrich the spiritual life of the school through planning and leading school chapel services, teaching lower school religion classes, collaborating effectively with faculty and staff members, supporting the school’s mission and core values, and providing pastoral care to members of the school community. We seek candidates who have ordination or planned ordination in the Episcopal Church, hold a master’s degree in Divinity, among other qualities, and have experience in early childhood education.   • Upper School English Teacher

    St. Catherine’s School seeks an Upper School English Teacher to begin work for the 2020-2021 school term. The Upper School English curriculum focuses on helping students develop cogent arguments and critical thinking skills while learning great literature from diverse authors. The candidate should be prepared to teach a variety of courses in the English Department at more than one grade level and be willing to design senior electives. An instructor who can also teach in other disciplines (e.g. history or World Languages) will be given particular consideration as the position may evolve over time.   • Brilliant Summer Preschool “Young Explorer” Instructor

    Brilliant Summer Day Camp at St. Catherine's School is currently accepting applications from instructors interested in teaching with the well established Young Explorer program. The instructor will work with children ages 3 through grade 1 encouraging them to take part in a variety of experiences including language arts, STEM, visual and performing arts, music, woodworking, puppetry, creative movement, outdoor play and swimming—all with the fantastic resources of the St. Catherine’s campus.

    To be eligible for an instructor position candidates may be current teachers with a background in early childhood education. Current graduate students or college students graduating before the summer of 2020 will also be considered. A criminal background check is required. The pay range for instructors is $15 - $25 per hour.

  • Brilliant Summer Sports Instructors

    Brilliant Summer Day Camp at St. Catherine's School is currently accepting applications from instructors interested in teaching a variety of sports classes this summer for grades 2- 10. Courses offered include ball games, field games, basketball, volleyball, team challenges, outdoor adventures and more. 

    To be eligible for an instructor position candidates may be teachers or other professionals. Current graduate students or college students graduating before the summer of 2020 will also be considered. A criminal background check is required. The pay range for instructors is $15 - $25 per hour.

  • Brilliant Summer Swimming Instructors

    Brilliant Summer Day Camp at St. Catherine's School is currently accepting applications from instructors interested in teaching swimming classes for students in preschool through grade 10. Children are grouped by age and skill levels including beginner, intermediate and advanced. Lifeguard and/or WSI certification preferred.

    To be eligible for an instructor position candidates may be teachers or other professionals. Current graduate students or college students graduating before the summer of 2020 will also be considered. A criminal background check is required. The pay range for instructors is $15 - $25 per hour.

  • Brilliant Summer Dance Instructor

    Brilliant Summer Day Camp at St. Catherine's School is currently accepting applications from instructors interested in teaching a variety of dance classes for grades 2-10. Courses offered include Hip-hop Dance, Modern Dance, Jazz Dance and Lyrical dance.

    To be eligible for an instructor position candidates may be current teachers or professional dancers. Current graduate students or college students graduating before the summer of 2020 will also be considered. A criminal background check is required. The pay range for instructors is $15 - $25 per hour.

  • Brilliant Summer Counselor

    The minimum age for applicants is 16 years old. Rising grade 11 and 12 high school students and college undergraduate students may apply for a counselor position. Counselors are considered teaching assistants and gain valuable experience in that position. Students pursuing a career in education are encouraged to apply. Preference is given to applicants that are available to work both three-week sessions: June 15 - July 2 and July 6 - 23.
