2023-2024 Spotlight on Service
This year, our girls have exemplified the School’s motto: “What we keep we lose, only what we give remains our own.” Through various projects across all divisions, they have made a significant impact on our community.

This year, our girls have exemplified the School’s motto: “What we keep we lose, only what we give remains our own.” Through various initiatives across all school levels, they have made a significant impact on our community.
Lower School
The Fourthies spearheaded the efforts through their Outreach Club. They led various initiatives, collaborating with different grade levels to support:
- Celebrate RVA
- Little Hands
- The Autism Society
- St. Stephen’s Food Bank (canned food drive)
Middle School
The SOCKS (Serving Our Community Kids’ Style) program engaged students in meaningful service activities:
- Organized the Angel Tree at Christmas
- Created Valentine’s Day cards for assisted living facilities
- Collected supplies for St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church
Additionally, the girls worked with St. Christopher’s School on various projects:
- Participated in the Speak Up 5K
- Cleaned Woodland Cemetery
- Managed the Monument Ave 10K Water Station
- Made animal treats for the SPCA
Upper School
Our Upper School girls graduate with hours of community service, showcasing their dedication to helping others. Projects are often chosen based on individual passions, but they also come together for annual joint service projects with St. Christopher’s:
- Juniors and Seniors: Prepared food packages for Rise Against Hunger
- Sophomores: Created care packages for the USO
- Freshmen: Assembled care packages for Richmond Behavioral Health
Through these diverse activities, our students have supported numerous organizations and embodied the spirit of giving and community service.
