Students Gain STEM Insights

Three Upper Schoolers attended the GAINS Conference in California.
   Upper Schoolers Caitlin Biggs, Anna McKay Radcliff and Eliza Woodfin recently participated in the GAINS STEM Conference at Stanford University and SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. GAINS (Girls Advancing in STEM) is a conference dedicated to high school girls interested in STEM fields.
     Biggs, McKay and Woodfin toured Stanford research labs, attended technical talks and met with STEM professionals to explore a diverse range of STEM research and careers. While in Palo Alto, the group also got an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Facebook headquarters.
