Alex McEachin ’13
For Alex McEachin ’13, fashion has always been personal. Inspired by the costumes of classic Hollywood films and nurtured by her love of dance and theater at St. Catherine’s, Alex followed her dream to Parsons School of Design in New York. There, she joined the design team at Proenza Schouler, gaining hands-on experience from conception to runway.
In 2022, Alex launched her own label, Accorda—Italian for harmony—creating pieces that are at once elegant, versatile, and wearable. Her debut collection, The Dinner Party, earned praise from The New York Times, which called her designs “glamorous clothes you can wear on the subway.”
Today, Alex continues to build her brand with the same vision and determination that guided her from St. Catherine’s to the global fashion stage. She is preparing to showcase her next line at New York Fashion Week 2026, marking another bold step in her journey as a designer.
