Cross Country Repeats as State Champion
Hannah Ballowe, who will run at Virginia Tech, repeated as individual champion.
The Saints repeated as cross country state champions with a dominant performance on a muddy course at Fork Union Military Academy last week.
Senior Hannah Ballowe repeated as individual champion, finishing the 5K course in 19:41. Junior Anne Heaton Noble (seventh) and senior Julia Galbraith (eighth) also finished in the top 10.
Ballowe, Noble, Galbraith, junior Anne Gamble Jennings and sophomore Jessica Parry earned all-State honors.
The St. Christopher’s cross country team also repeated as state champions.
