Students Earn National Honors
Three girls were honored as Scholastic Art and Writing Awards National Medalists.
Three St. Catherine’s students were recently honored as 2018 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards National Medalists. The girls honored are senior Alizeh Khalid, junior Rosabel Zhang and eighth grader Sophie Levengood. National Medalists represent less than one percent of submissions to the 2018 Scholastic Awards. More than 350,000 works of art and writing were submitted.
Khalid received a silver medal for her mixed media piece titled Alizeh. Zhang also received a silver medal, for her photography titled Tomorrow. And Levengood was honored with a silver for her untitled photography submission.
