Lower School (Grades 1 - 4)

Our admissions process begins by building a relationship with your family. Each step allows us to get to know your daughter and to better understand her readiness for our Lower School.
Submit an online application: The first step in the application process is to submit an online application in SaintsNet

Supplemental Online Forms:

  • Parent/Guardian Statement
  • Testing Form
  • Transcript Release Form

Transcripts and Recommendation Forms:
  • Current Teacher Recommendation
  • Administrative Recommendation
  • Transcripts for two prior years (where applicable)
  • Current year report for Marking Periods 1 and 2 or Trimester 1
WPPSI-IV or WISC-V Testing: This is an individually administered assessment that measures the cognitive abilities of young children. There is a fee for this assessment. It is offered by a licensed psychologist at St. Catherine's or through a private source. If you choose to have your daughter tested at St. Catherine’s, someone from the Admissions team will reach out after we receive your Testing Request Form.

Applicant Visit: As part of the application process, applicants are invited to join at Lower School classroom for a Visit Day from 8:15 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (including lunch). During this visit, your daughter will complete the Grade-Level Admissions Assessment. Visit Days are scheduled in January and February and on an as-needed basis thereafter.

We recommend completing all steps and forms by January 1 to be considered for the first round of admission decisions.
