Bioethics begins (Virtual)

This class will bring together philosophical positions with real-world dilemmas. This class is geared toward the student who is interested in the sciences. We will cover the various ethical dilemmas as they relate to the world of science, technology and health care. We will address controversial topics including: DNA testing, stem cell research, reproductive technology, cloning technologies, genetically modified food, euthanasia and end of life care.

Each week will contain course materials, assignments and opportunities for students to learn from each other through video, padlet, online discussions and synchronous class discussions.
