Daisy Days is planned for the weekend of April 23-24, 2021. This fifty-year tradition brings together St. Catherine’s families, alumnae, and Richmond-area families for two days of entertainment and activities. As is evidenced by our recent recognition from Style Weekly, Daisy Days is eagerly anticipated each year. It is embraced for the fun it provides and the sense of community spirit it fosters. Games, rides, performances, food, and a vendor marketplace with about 60 shops are some of the attractions at this Parents’ Association event. We attract more than 3,000 attendees and over 300 parents volunteer to help run the festival.
While we were not able to gather together on our campus Green last spring because of the pandemic, the Daisy Days Committee reimagined the event and created “Daisy Days from a Distance.” We were able to continue support the School and bring together our community with a very successful virtual event. If we are unable to gather in person this year, we will use our successful blueprint from the spring and plan an expanded “Daisy Days from a Distance” to celebrate our 2021 Daisy Days as a modified virtual event again this year.
