Daisy Days has been a treasured, much-anticipated event at St. Catherines for almost 50 years. While we will not be gathering together on the Green this year, we can still honor the spirit of Daisy Days and celebrate our Saints community. Now more than ever, our community needs one other and we continue to make a difference in one another’s lives. In order to move forward with our Daisy Days tradition of community-building during this difficult time, we are having “Daisy Days from a Distance." Our focus will be on supporting one another, our Community, and the School in a variety of ways.

St. Catherine’s thanks to the Daisy Days Committee and the Parents’ Association for all of the hard work they have put into planning our 2020 Daisy Days event this year. We are also grateful for the support of our amazing 2020 Daisy Days corporate sponsors (see below). While we will miss seeing everyone on the Green this year, we are excited that we can all connect through this year’s Daisy Days from a Distance! Our Daisy Days from a Distance will engage our Saints the whole month of April.

Here are our plans for our new, exciting "Daisy Days from a Distance" plans:

Instead of volunteering for a shift at Daisy Days, we would love our Saints families to consider doing something to help those in our community who are in need. Check out our resource board for ideas about how to help others during this difficult time. Let’s embrace our School motto, "What we keep we lose; only what we give remains our own."

Our Saints community is rising to the challenge and doing amazing things to help others and generate positivity during social distancing. Let us know what you and your family have done to help out and uplift others.  We want to celebrate what your family is doing and inspire others. Email daisydays@st.catherines.org

Puttin’ On The Hits Dance Breaks - new!

Each week in April, we will be sending out two song titles that we would love you to use for a “dance break.” Film a clip of yourself, your family, or your Zoom class dancing to one of the weekly songs and send it to daisydays@st.catherines.org by Thursday each weekWe will compile the clips together and post them on Instasaints. You can also share them on your social media with #stcdaisydays. Look for the songs each Sunday in Week-At-A-Glance.

Is your family playing a lot of games together? Send us a photo of your family playing a game together - board games, basketball, cornhole, cards, etc. Let us know what your family is doing and we will periodically share what games Saints families are playing during social distancing. Email daisydays@st.catherines.org

Also, check out the great resource list of family-friendly online games we have compiled.

We are all getting creative finding ways to work out at home and some of us could use some cooking inspiration! We have compiled a great resource list online for workout videos and healthy family recipes. We would also love to hear from you if you have a great workout video or recipe link you would like to share! Email daisydays@st.catherines.org

You can buy a ticket for our new 50/50 Raffle for $25. The School will split the pot 50/50 with the winner of the drawing. We also have amazing prizes for our Daisy Raffle this year including Apple AirPods, teeth whitening, and lots of great gift certificates. Tickets are just $2.00 each. Raffle tickets must be purchased by April 30. Drawings for both will be May 29. The drawing will be posted on social media and winners will be notified by the School.
