Dr. Tovia Martirosian Smith ’98
As a student-athlete at St. Catherine’s and later an All-American at Yale, Dr. Tovia Martirosian Smith ’98 has always combined drive with heart. Now a board-certified urogynecologist at Virginia Women’s Center, she’s nationally recognized for her expertise in pelvic health and minimally invasive surgery.
After earning her MD from the University of Virginia and completing a fellowship at the University of Michigan, Tovia returned home to Richmond. A multi-year Richmond Magazine “Top Doc” and president of the Richmond Academy of Medicine, she’s making a powerful impact in both medicine and her community.
