St. Catherine’s offers a comprehensive summer academic program, designed to meet a number of students' needs: enrichment, acceleration, review, and strengthening of basic skills. Small classes, taught mostly by St. Catherine's faculty, provide students with personal attention. Students may concentrate on a single course or several courses for a focused learning experience. A relaxed atmosphere and dedicated faculty create a pleasant and meaningful learning environment.
Academic credit offerings for 2017 include:
- Art Foundation: June 7-23
- World Religions: June 7-23 and July 24-Aug 11
- Intro to Moral Philosophy: June 12-30
- Health I: June 19-July 7 and July 10-28
Class attendance is especially important because of the condensed nature of the course. Each class period is considered to be one week’s worth of material. No more than one unexcused absence or two excused absences are allowed. If a student misses one day more than one unexcused absence, even if the second is excused, the student will risk forfeiting the course credit.
