Saints Support Relief Efforts
Students joined together with community partners in support of Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.
St. Catherine’s students worked with the VCU basketball team, Flying Squirrels, Hilldrup Moving, St. Christopher’s students and WTVR CBS 6 to gather donations to assist with the relief efforts following Hurricane Harvey. More than 275,000 lbs of supplies were collected at the Diamond that day.
The varsity field hockey team woke up early and worked with the community partners in the rain to load up four trailers worth of relief items. VCU men’s basketball coach Mike Rhoades even motivated the team with a little pep talk.
St. Catherine's will continue supporting relief efforts throughout the school year.
