Cum Laude Members Inducted

Sixteen students were inducted into St. Catherine's chapter of Cum Laude Society.
 St. Catherine’s celebrated academic achievement on Thursday morning as 16 new students were inducted into the School’s chapter of Cum Laude Society. Dr. Anne Howell McElroy ’78, Ophthalmologist, and Chair of the St. Catherine’s Board of Governors, was the guest speaker for the service.
     The new inductees are seniors Emily Condlin, Sarah Hancock, Caroline Hudgens, Mara Kramer, Caroline Matawaran, Kate Oelkers, Luisa Vosmik and Emma Walker.
     Juniors inducted: Lily Blankenship, Sarah Cobb, Madison Jiranek, Caroline Jordan, Julia Murillo, Ann Tarry, Mary Clarke Wallace and Madison Williamson.
They join last year’s inductees from the Class of 2017: Schuyler Guare, Mary Pace Lewis, Sally Mauck, Shala Munn, Cara Nunley, Vanessa Revilla, Lucy Wallace and M.E. Williams.
     Cum Laude is made up of 382 chapters in the United States, the Philippines, Puerto Rico, Canada, England, France and Spain. Approximately 4,000 new student members are inducted each year.
