New Students Inducted Into Cum Laude Society

Upper School students were formally inducted in Bannard Chapel.
Eighteen students and two faculty members were inducted into the St. Catherine's chapter of the Cum Laude Society Monday evening in Bannard Chapel. Cum Laude celebrates academic achievement. 
     Sue Jenkins, Math Chair and Upper School Math teacher, delivered the remarks talking about her academic journey. 
     Congratulations to seniors: Grace Blake, Grace Brockenbrough, Kate Dixon, Claire Kehoe, Cate Murcko, Charlotte Racine, Pender Raymond, Emma Stevens and Addie Whisnand.
     And congrats to juniors: Sophia Carter, Adelaide Goolsby, Adell Hudson, Lexi Johnson, Molly Maloney, Kate Mitchell, Margaret Nunnally, Kathryn Price and Caroline Wulff. 
Upper School Science teacher Dr. Kristina Suttle and History teacher Savannah Salter Watson '12 were also inducted. 
     They join last year's student inductees from the Class of 2023: Janie Brockenbrough, Chelsea Brown, Kayton Buerlein, Lily Caldwell, Eva Green, Caroline Mathews, Sarah Nelson and Kiki Wallace.
     Cum Laude is made up of 382 chapters in the United States, the Philippines, Puerto Rico, Canada, England, France and Spain. Approximately 4,000 new student members are inducted each year.
