Students Earn Computer Science Awards
Emma Dixon and Eliza Hopkins were honored by the National Center for Women & Information Technology as regional winners.
Sophomore Emma Dixon and senior Eliza Hopkins were selected by the National Center for Women & Information Technology as Virginia/DC Affiliate Aspirations in Computing Award winners.
They were selected for their outstanding aptitude and aspirations in technology and computing as demonstrated by the following:
- Progression in computing experiences and technical skills
- Leadership through teams, clubs, and teaching peers
- Participation in computing-related extra-curricular activities
