Juniors Experience Admissions Process

The Class of 2024 engaged in an insightful workshop followed by a college visit.
Juniors experienced the college admissions process from the other side as they took on the role of admissions directors on Monday. The students divided into small groups and reviewed applicants for the fictional Grove University before advocating for their selections.

Nine admissions reps from colleges and universities across the region led discussions with students about the candidates and then did a Q&A session. The students visited Randolph-Macon College for lunch and a tour following the morning workshop.

Big thanks to the college reps who participated in this important session:
David Burge - George Mason University
Meagan Donohoe - University of Virginia
Rebecca Drewry - College of Charleston
Amy Hall - Dickinson College
Erin Melody - Xavier University (Ohio)
TeCarla Moore - Old Dominion University
Michael Pina - University of Richmond
Will Stratton - University of South Carolina
