A Night at the Symphony

Saints Chamber Orchestra hosted a special performance.
     The Saints Chamber Orchestra welcomed Trinity Episcopal’s string students, their director Kimberly Ryan and guest conductor Naima Burrs for a special collaborative project, A Night at the Symphony, in St. Christopher's Ryan Recital Hall. 
     The Saints Chamber Orchestra is made up of students from St. Catherine's and St. Christopher's.
Maestra Burrs was recently appointed Music Director of the Petersburg Symphony. She also serves as conductor of the Hopkins Symphony Orchestra at John Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. In addition to being a full-time instructor at Virginia State University, she is also pursuing a Doctoral of Musical Arts Degree in instrumental conducting at The Catholic University of Washington, D.C.
