Upper School Celebrates Martin Luther King, Jr.
Students at St. Catherine's and St. Christopher's joined together for a service to celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr.
St. Catherine's and St. Christopher's Upper School students joined together for a special Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration on Wednesday morning. The celebration was led by St. Catherine's UNITY and St. Christopher's BSU student groups.
The celebration was attended in person at St. Christopher's Recital Hall by seniors from both schools. All other students watched with their advisories.
The celebration included a dance performance by Richmond Ballet trainee and St. Christopher's senior Ephraim Bullock, live music performances, a poetry reading and ended with a prayer.
After the service, the girls gathered together with their advisories for an activity designed to spark a conversation on moving forward to create thoughtful change at St. Catherine's and our greater Richmond community.
