Seniors Earn Academic Recognition

Seniors Tess Delice and Ryleigh Vallejo were recognized by the National Merit organization.
     Seniors Tess Delice and Ryleigh Vallejo were honored by the National Merit organization for their performance on the PSATs last year and outstanding academic achievement. Delice received the National African-American Recognition and Vallejo received the National Hispanic Recognition.
     The College Board’s National African American Recognition Program and Hispanic Recognition Programs are academic honors for academically exceptional African American and Hispanic students who have scored in the top 10 percent of the state on the PSAT or earned a score of 3 or higher on two or more AP exams by their junior year. To qualify, they must also have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
