Dayton Named Top 100

Saints Director of Athletics was named one of the Top 100 Most Accomplished Athletes in Delaware History.
     Director of Athletics Julie Dayton was named one of the Top 100 Most Accomplished Athletes in Delaware History.
     Dayton, who grew up in Laurel, Del, earned 12 varsity letters in field hockey, basketball and softball before graduating from Laurel High School in 1976. She then starred in field hockey and lacrosse at Longwood College, becoming its first lacrosse All-American. That led to a 10 years on the U.S. team, including the silver medal in the 1986 World Cup team. She is in the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame as well as the Delaware Hall of Fame and the inaugural class of the Longwood University Hall of Fame. 
     Dayton was named no. 79 on the recent Delaware list compiled by the Delaware News Journal.
