Four Seniors Named Echols Scholars

Four students earned the honor at the University of Virginia.
Four St. Catherine's seniors were named Echols Scholars at the University of Virginia. Catherine Brockenbrough, Isabelle Engel and Nicole McCormick will all attend UVA. Isabelle King was also named an Echols Scholar, but she will attend Harvard. Engel was also awarded the Albemarle Corporation Scholarship at Washington & Lee University.
In existence since 1960, the Echols Scholars Program is an Honors Program in the College of Arts and Sciences. It is not a stipend or merit scholarship program. Roughly five percent of an incoming class are admitted as Echols Scholars.
Congrats Catherine, Isabelle, Nicole and Isabelle!
