Baytops Hired as Associate Director of College Counseling
Raven Baytops '12 will begin working at St. Catherine's in July.
Raven Baytops '12 is returning to St. Catherine's as an Associate Director of College Counseling. She will begin in July.
As a senior at the College of William & Mary, Raven worked in Undergraduate Admissions interviewing more than 150 high school students, facilitated campus tours, assisted prospective students and families with the William & Mary admission process and managed ongoing projects. She graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a concentration in Linguistics and a Public Health Minor.
Following graduation, she worked at Dickinson College as an Admissions Counselor for nearly two years, serving prospective students in Georgia, Indiana, Tennessee and Maryland and evaluated 700 to 1,000 applications per year. For the last three years, Raven has served as the Associate Director of College Counseling at Cape Henry Collegiate School, a coed K-12 independent school in Virginia Beach. In that role, she supported 80 juniors and 90 seniors through the college admission process through education, individual guidance, weekly advisory programs, and a host of other activities.
