Art Students Win Awards

Art students received a total of 28 Arts Awards, including 11 Gold Keys, in the Scholastic Arts and Writing Awards.
   St. Catherine's art students received a total of 28 Arts Awards, including 11 Gold Keys, in the Scholastic Arts and Writing Awards. 
     The ZOOM adjudication day last month boasted 40 writing jurors and 14 moderators from our Richmond Arts Community to judge the 1,604 art entries. Gold Key honorees are celebrated during a show this month.
     Senior Mira Coutlakis received a Gold Key Award and a nomination for the American Visions Award for her piece "I Matter." Junior Ava Dalton and sophomore Elena Mazurek each received two Gold Keys. 
     Seventh grader Stella McCormack was the only Middle Schooler to receive a Scholastic Arts Award. She received a Silver Key.
