Remembering Mrs. Beausang

Our hearts are heavy over the loss of Cindy Beausang. The Upper School Science teacher and former Middle School teacher died on Monday after a difficult battle with brain cancer. A virtual celebration of her life took place on Friday during Upper School chapel.
She loved the St. Catherine's community throughout her time of working in all three divisions. Cindy started as a substitute teacher in the Lower School in 2005 before joining the Middle School faculty in 2014. In 2018, she moved to the Upper School to teach chemistry and physics and was an advisor.
Cindy will be missed by all of the students, faculty and staff who loved her so much.

A Video Tribute to Mrs. Beausang

A prayer for Cindy Beausang from Rev. Becky McDaniel:
O God of grace and glory, we remember before you this day our sister Cindy. We thank you for giving her to us, her family and friends, to know and to love as a companion on our earthly pilgrimage. In your boundless compassion, console us who mourn. Give us faith to see in death the gate of eternal life, so that in quiet confidence we may continue our course on earth, until, by your call, we are reunited with Cindy and those who have gone before; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
