Saints Hold Virtual Signing Day

St. Catherine's celebrated the spring Signing Day for six Saints athletes from the Class of 2020 with a virtual signing day on Zoom.
Spring Signing Day looked a bit different this year. Instead of filling the Kenny Center to celebrate the six athletes signing in the Spring, athletes, coaches, parents and others filled computer screens as the Signing Day took place on Zoom.
The six student-athletes signing this spring complete a School-record 18 student-athletes in the Class of 2020 advancing to the college level for athletics. The 12 other student-athletes signed in the fall.
Signing in the spring: Anne Gamble Jennings (Bates Cross Country/Track); Anne Bowles (VMI Swimming); Carolyn Braziel (Stevenson Field Hockey); Tess Deyerle (Washington & Lee Swimming); Carrington Bowles (Dickinson Swimming) and Jailah Channer (VCU Track & Field).
Before their athletic careers at St. Catherine's were cut short this spring, the 53 Saints varsity athletes from the Class of 2020 won 24 LIS titles and 12 state titles. They earned 74 all-LIS honors, 85 all-state honors and 41 all-metro honors.
