Joni Dancers Create from Home

Upper School dancers completed a Site Specific Choreopgraphy project led by an alumna dancer from NYC.
For Distance Learning, Joni dancers worked with professional dancer Sarah Eika Burke '06 on a Site Specific Choreography project.
Each dancer was required to choreograph, perform and film a 30-second dance from the comfort of their own home, following Stay at Home regulations.
Burke then judged the 68 projects that were turned din for the assignment. Sophomore Halle Wulff was named the best overall and sophomore Brooke Dodson was second overall.
Also earning nods from Bure were: sophomore Saaye Zarei (choreography and edit); junior Rachael Grose (body specific and stage use); sophomore Brooke Zide (choreography of movement and camera); freshman Kiki Wallace (use of voice) and sophomore Margaret White (overall story).
