Saints Win Tenth Consecutive LIS Title

Saints athletes dominated the meet at St. Christopher's, winning 10 of the 15 event titles.
     Saints indoor track and field captured a tenth consecutive League of Independent School (LIS) title over the weekend, besting second place Collegiate by 80 points. St. Christopher's won the Prep League title on the same day. The previous weekend, both Saints teams won their respective league swim/dive titles.
     The Saints won 10 titles, placed multiple times in 13 of the 15 events and recorded one LIS and one school record.
     The Most Valuable Runner honor went to senior Willa Shannon. She won the 300 and 55 hurdles and lowering her own school record in the 55 hurdles to 8.49 seconds. The Most Valuable Field Athlete went to senior Jailah Channer. She won the high jump, long jump, placed second in the 300, and won the 55m dash, with a new LIS meet record.
