Upper Schoolers Win 31 Arts Awards

Student artists won 31 awards in the Scholastic Arts and Writing Awards. 
     Upper School girls received a total of 31 arts awards, including 10 Gold Keys, in the Scholastic Arts and Writing Awards. The students won in the categories of ceramics & glass, comic art, digital art, drawing & illustration, mixed media, painting and photography. Forty-one art jurors and 15 moderators from the Richmond Arts Community judged the 2,674 art entries in early January.

Over the past 90 years, the Awards have recognized and encouraged artists and writers such as Sylvia Plath, Andy Warhol, Truman Capote, Robert Redford, Tom Otterness, Zac Posen, among countless others.
