A Lower School Celebration for Dr. Scheckelhoff
As Dr. Scheckelhoff prepares to retire at the end of the school year, a variety of farewells will take place.
The Lower School surprised Dr. Terrie Hale Scheckelhoff earlier this week during their chapel in the Lower School Assembly Room with thank you gifts and well wishes for her retirement.
The Early Learners wished her Peace on Earth with a dove Christmas ornament made from each of the girls' fingerprints. The JK girls made garlands for Dr. Scheckelhoff's Christmas tree. Grades 1-4, with the help of Lower School art teacher Jacque Minarik and parent volunteer Ann Ritter, created a colorful wreath for Dr. Scheckelhoff to hang on her door.
