Twelve Student Athletes Commit to Colleges

Twelve athletes from the Class of 2020 celebrated their college decisions on National Signing Day.
     St. Catherine’s celebrated 12 student-athletes from the Class of 2020 who will continue their athletic careers in college. The student-athletes gathered with their fellow athletes, family, friends and coaches in the Kenny Center Lobby on Wednesday, which was National Signing Day. This marked the largest group of student-athletes at Signing Day in School history.

Current Class of 2020 student-athletes who will continue competing in college:
  • Jessie Atkinson—Sewanee Volleyball
  • Claire Ellis—Shepherd University Volleyball
  • Haley Felton—Randolph-Macon Basketball
  • Abby Jenkins—University of Denver Lacrosse
  • Sarah Johnson—Ohio State Lacrosse
  • Cary Mauck—Denison Field Hockey
  • Willa Shannon—Dartmouth Track & Field
  • Maggie Strickler—Univ of Virginia Rowing
  • Ellie Taylor—Davidson Field Hockey
  • Maddie Vicars—Liberty University Field Hockey
  • Rory Weinfurther—University of Richmond Golf
  • Jaala Williams—Virginia Wesleyan Basketball
Additional student-athletes from the Class of 2020 are expected to sign in the spring.
