Upper School Bids Farewell to McVey Theatre

The sunsetting of McVey Theatre continued Friday morning as Upper School held a final chapel in the building.
The Upper School officially bid farewell to McVey Theatre this morning with the final chapel in the theatre.
During the final chapel, English teacher Frances Doyle '85 shared a special poem, Visual Arts Coordinator Kendall Neely told stories of her time in the building and Director of Theatre Maury Hancock reflected on his long career in the building. Rev. Dr. Dorothy White reflected and led a special blessing.
Upper School students shared what the space has meant to them during their time at St. Catherine's. Senior Caroline Lynch and freshman Zoe Astruc sang "Some Things Are Meant To Be" from Little Women as a final tributesang to the building. The girls filed out of McVey for the final time in silence.
