Cum Laude Members Inducted

Sixteen Upper School students were inducted into the Cum Laude Society.
     St. Catherine’s celebrated academic achievement on Monday morning as 16 new students were inducted into the School’s chapter of Cum Laude Society. Dr. Jeff Turner, Upper School History teacher, was the guest speaker for the service.
     The new inductees are seniors Colleen Apostle, Caroline Boyd, Gracie Caplice, Brucie Mish, Jamie Newton, Susanna Plageman, Addie Wood and Eliza Woodfin
     Juniors inducted: Archer Gurkin, Claire Hackney, Ellen Herrera, Chandler Kerkam, Claiborne Mathews, Virginia Nelson, Charlotte Peete and Emily Tyler
     They join last year’s inductees from the Class of 2019: Townsend Dotterer, Bronwyn Mitchell, Eva Saville, Lacey Thompson, Diana Wickersham, Laney Yoo, Maggie Young
     Cum Laude is made up of 382 chapters in the United States, the Philippines, Puerto Rico, Canada, England, France and Spain. Approximately 4,000 new student members are inducted each year.
