Juniors Receive Computing Awards

Haley Mulligan and Claire Herrington were honored by the National Center for Women & Information Technology. 
     Juniors Haley Mulligan and Claire Herrington received NCWIT Aspirations in Computing awards in Blacksburg over the weekend.
     They both received Virginia Affiliate Honorable Mention awards for their "demonstrated interest and achievements in computing, proven leadership ability, academic performance, and plans for post‑secondary education."
     The NCWIT (National Center for Women & Information Technology) Award for Aspirations in Computing (AiC) "honors women in grades 9 through 12 who are active and interested in computing and technology and encourages them to pursue their passions."
