MS Students Participate in Model UN

A group of students traveled to William & Mary for a variety of activities.
A group of eighth graders traveled to the College of William & Mary last weekend for Model UN.
In the General Assemblies, student delegates engaged in debate topics ranging from rising sea levels to income disparity. Regional Assemblies and Specialized Agencies focused on specific areas or demographics, overcoming challenges like establishing a refugee Olympic team or fighting to end gender inequality. Crisis committees placed delegates in the role of individuals facing turmoil: some will act as professors amidst disasters at Hogwarts, while others will become Greek gods and goddesses overseeing their subjects.
