Juniors Gain Inside Look to College Admissions
The Class of 2020 learned more about the admissions process and toured a local college on their Junior Retreat Day.
The Junior class experienced a closer look at the college admissions process today. Students and parents started the morning with “Inside College Admission: A Case Study” and finished the day with a college visit to Randolph-Macon College.
Admissions officials from Barnard, Lafayette, Old Dominion, Providence, Sewanee, Richmond, UVA and William & Mary were on campus in the morning to give the insiders view. Students and parents read, evaluated and made admission decisions on mock college applications. The professionals then each addressed how they would handle the mock applicants The girls then gained additional insights on the admissions process from the college professionals.
