Freshman Performs in Regional Orchestra
Mikayla Green was among 175 string players selected for the Central Regional Orchestra.
Freshman Mikayla Green was joined by St. Christopher's freshman Lane Jones and eighth grader Scott Butterfield in the Central Regional Orchestra over the weekend.
The Central Regional Orchestra is composed of 175 string players in grades 7-9 from the city of Richmond and surrounding counties. The audition process is rigorous, and there is a high level of competition for entrance into this ensemble.
Participants rehearsed Friday and Saturday and presented an hour-long concert on Saturday afternoon at Hanover High School.
